Privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026. Most built-in RuvoKit browser utilities process selected files directly in the user's browser, without uploading those files to a RuvoKit processing server.

Public visitors

Public tools do not require visitors to register or log in. The base release does not contain analytics pixels, advertising trackers or paid cloud AI APIs. Hosting providers may log normal HTTP requests, IP addresses and user agents.

Super Admin account

A private owner-only dashboard uses server-side sessions and a password hash. The server also stores catalog settings, update revisions, manual source edits and temporarily rate-limit records for security. Admin backup imports are handled by the host as uploaded JSON files.

New custom tools

The owner can publish additional tools with custom HTML and JavaScript inside an isolated iframe. These are subject to restrictive browser rules, but the features and processing choices of new tools may differ from built-in utilities. The owner must review the privacy information if new data flows are introduced.

Uploaded media and metadata

Most original image operations re-encode files locally; this can remove GPS and EXIF data but may also remove copyright or color information. Check your outputs before sharing sensitive data. Visual blur is not guaranteed secure redaction.

Retention and deletion

The platform owner controls backup and revision retention on the hosting server. Admin sessions expire after inactivity; passwords are not stored in plaintext.
